J’ai intitulé cette série, « shadow of a doubt », ce qui se traduit en français par « l’ombre d’un doute ». Avec cette série, je recherche de forts contrastes, des zones d’ombres profondes et des couleurs saturées. Cela apporte une part de drame, de complexité et de mystère à des scènes quotidiennes. Nos vies ne sont jamais banales, nous avons juste besoin de regarder les choses avec un œil neuf.

Alison McCauley is a Geneva-based documentary photographer. Among other projects, she is currently working on a long-term project documenting the lives of asylum seekers in Geneva.
Alison has a fine arts background and holds degrees from the University of Southampton, the Haute Ecole d’Art et de Design in Geneva and the Open College of the Arts. She is an associate of the Royal Photographic Society and a member of the international collective Street Photographers. Alison is a founding member of and contributor to CHARTS, a Swiss arts and culture magazine. A native English speaker, Alison is also fluent in French and Portuguese. She is available for commissions and assignments worldwide.
